Los Angeles Chapter Information Regular Meetings: Quarterly Meetings Los Angeles County Chapter Meeting WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3, 2010 The Los Angeles Women's Environmental Council presents: CYNTHIA VANT HUL, GHG Climate Team, Principal www.ghgteam.com presenting: AB 32 Greenhouse Gas Compliance Issues and Mandatory Reporting Cynthia Vant Hul has 12 years experience in managing environmental issues within the waste management industry and is an accredited Greenhouse Gas Verifier with both the California Air Resources Board and Climate Action Reserve. Her area of expertise is in waste management, environmental protection, regulatory issues and sustainability program development. She has conducted over 1,500 environmental audits and has experience correlating greenhouse gas emissions with waste production in both municipal and private industry. As the Recycling Compliance and Regulatory Manager for both Waste Management Inc. and the City of Claremont, Ms Vant Hul has managed solid waste and environmental programs for more than 30 cities within the counties of Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Fresno. She is an Executive Director for the Southern California Waste Management Forum, a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), and the National Recycling Coalition, California Resource Recovery Association.
